85 Year old Country Music legend Loretta Lynn has suffered a broken hip from a fall at her ranch in Tennessee an Instagram post from her sister has revealed.<\/p>\n

The latest Opry member Crystal Gale who turns 66 this week took to the social media website on Monday to break the news that her sister had suffered the break last week and to remember Lynn in their ‘thoughts and prayers’.<\/p>\n
‘I was with Loretta yesterday,’ Gayle said. ‘She is in good spirits and is doing as well as can be expected with this type of injury.’<\/p>\n
Lynn has since made two public appearances since her stroke in May 2017. In September, she performed at 2017 Tennessee Motorcycle and Music Revival at her home, her ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. In October, she made a surprise appearance at the 2017 Country Music Hall of Fame induction to induct her long time friend, Alan Jackson.<\/p>\n
At the time of the stroke Lynn postponed the release of her next album ‘Wouldn\u2019t Be Great’ to later this year and cancelled her tour dates. Last summer, she issued a statement letting everybody know that, \u201cWillie ain\u2019t dead yet and neither am I.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThis record is so special for me,\u201d she said. \u201cIt deserves me at my best, and I can\u2019t wait to share it. I want to thank everyone for hanging in there with me. I am getting stronger every day and can\u2019t wait to get back out there with all of you.<\/p>\n
The Hall of Fame singer is known for her biographical hit ‘Coal Miner’s Daughter,’ which became a book and a movie, as well as ‘You Ain’t Woman Enough,’ ‘The Pill,’ and ‘One’s on the Way.’<\/p>\n
