Kerry Fearon is a name that’s currently stuck right in the middle of Irish Country. She’s a busy wee woman with many fingers in pies and one pie that is simmering along nicely is that of her solo career. Just this week she released her second single, ‘Luxury Liner’ to radio. The song, written by Gram Parsons is the song that was the title track from the EmmyLou Harris album. Released in 1976. Kerry’s version has been brought up to the modern day and was produced and arranged at No Sweat Studios Coleraine by Clive Culbertson.<\/p>\n

Kerry recently told us about the new single and her forthcoming debut album:<\/p>\n
“‘Luxury Liner’ is taken from my debut album ‘Honky Tonk Girl’\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>and is the follow up single to ‘Storms never last’ (which spent almost 2 weeks at number 2 on the UK radio airplay chart and it reached number 15 on the Hotdisc international top 40 chart), ‘Red River Valley’ ft. Jordan Mogey (which was song of the month June 2017 on Denmark radio) and ‘Cotton Jenny.”<\/p>\n
She went on to add, “My album is almost ready to go- I am just working on the final details.”<\/p>\n
“I am very busy these days managing my post of teaching special needs, attending & studying the UU Diploma in Irish Language, presenting my radio programme on Downtown Country and presenting my TV show on keep it Country TV.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Kerry currently presents ‘Homegrown Hour’ on Downtown Country Monday-Thursday night at 10pm and Ireland’s Hot 7 chart which goes out on Downtown Country and Downtown Radio after Big T’s show on a Sunday night.\u00a0 She also hosts her very own TV show\u00a0‘Kerry’s Gold Country’<\/b>\u00a0which now airs on\u00a0Keep it Country TV<\/b>\u00a0at the new time of 8pm Friday nights and it is repeated Tuesdays at 4pm.
