This weekend saw Brothers Osborne visit these shores for the first time, supported by the talented Kendell Marvel – take a look at what we thought of their performances!<\/p>\n

Supporting the Brothers was Kendell Marvel, a well-known Nashville artist. The singer-songwriter is about to release his debut album “Lowdown and Lonesome” in the UK\/Ireland on 18th May – after the performance that he gave at his supporting Limelight gig, we can’t wait to hear the full album! Opening with “Untangle My Mind”, a song he wrote with Chris Stapleton, and featuring songs from his forthcoming album such as “Gypsy Woman”, and “Heartache Off My Back”, Marvel wowed the crowd, warming them up well for the headline act. With his punchy guitar-picking, and his country-rocking voice, Marvel impressed the packed out venue – we cannot wait until he comes back here again!<\/p>\n

After a short break, Brothers Osborne took to the stage – and ROCKED the venue for the next hour and 30 minutes! The CMA and ACM Duo of the Year wowed the crowd, with John’s eclectic guitar-playing, and TJ’s soulful baritone vocals.<\/p>\n

The siblings released their second album “Port Saint Joe” last month, and much of their set showcased their new collection of songs. As they sang album cuts such as “Weed, Whiskey and Willie”, “Pushin’ Up Daisies (Love Alive)” and “Drank Like Hank”, the crowd sang along, much to the clear surprise of the duo!<\/p>\n

Highlights of the set included their hits “Stay A Little Longer” as well as “It Ain’t My Fault”, which featured a five minute, face-melting, high-energy guitar solo from John Osborne!<\/p>\n

However, the best part of the night was clearly the Brothers’ encore.\u00a0TJ called out to the crowd for requests, and were surprised to hear their fans crying out “Tequila Again” from their new album. Much to the crowd’s delight, Belfast got to hear the first live version of the album cut! Closing with a soulful rendition of John Denver’s “Country Roads”, it was a concert to remember – Let’s hope the Bros can make it to Belfast again soon!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
