While the world\u2019s top musicians attended the\u00a0American Music Awards<\/em>\u00a0on Tuesday in Los Angeles, one name was missing from the RSVP list \u2014\u00a0Ed Sheeran\u2019s.<\/p>\n

Instead of attending the ceremony, he\u00a0opted\u00a0for a songwriter\u2019s round at the sacred Nashville music venue, the Bluebird Caf\u00e9. The night highlighted acoustic performances by \u201cThinking Out Loud\u201d co-writer Amy Wadge, Devin Dawson, David Hodges and Jillian Jacqueline, a member of CMT Next Women of Country.<\/p>\n

Celebrities always seem to blend in discreetly with locals and tourists whenever they\u2019re in Nashville. And that was the case for Sheeran because no one noticed him sitting at a table in a far corner until he stood up to perform the last song, \u201cThinking Out Loud\u201d with Wadge.<\/p>\n

For all who were there, it was a totally original Nashville night.<\/p>\n
