This week, country star\u00a0Russell Dickerson<\/strong>\u00a0is celebrating his second consecutive US Country Radio #1 single and RIAA gold certification with his fan-favourite Summer anthem “Blue Tacoma” (video here<\/a>), ahead of his latest trip to the UK later in October. Inspired by a sun-drenched road-trip with his wife along Southern California’s famed Pacific Coast Highway, the track is taken from his full-length Top Five debut album\u00a0“Yours”<\/em>\u00a0(Sony Music UK \/ Triple Tigers), and has now made its way to the top of both the Billboard Country charts and the Mediabase Country Radio charts.<\/p>\n

2018 has undeniably proven to be a landmark year for the artist. In addition to the chart success with debut single “Yours”, Dickerson also made his late-night USA TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live in February. In addition, the Platinum-selling singer\/songwriter nabbed his first-ever ACM nomination for “New Male Vocalist of the Year” and his first-ever CMT nomination for “Breakthrough Video of the Year”.<\/p>\n

After spending the last three months on the road with\u00a0Lady Antebellum<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Darius Rucker<\/strong>\u00a0on their North American “Summer Plays On” Tour and now, having headlined the Nashville Meets London festival last year, and being highlighted as one of the standout artists at this year’s C2C festival, Russell Dickerson returns to the UK this month to support Rucker’s six-date national tour, and to play his own headline show at The Borderline, London (27th October) as part of Country Music Week.
