Multi-platinum\u00a0singer\/songwriter\u00a0Kip Moore<\/strong>\u00a0announced today that his highly-anticipated fourth studio album,\u00a0WILD WORLD<\/strong>,\u00a0will be available\u00a0May\u00a029th<\/strong>,\u00a0and\u00a0can be\u00a0pre-ordered\u00a0now.\u00a0\u00a0Moore also gave his notably\u00a0loyal\u00a0fan-following a taste of what to expect, releasing the upcoming collection’s title track today, available to listen\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Co-writing all but one of\u00a0WILD WORLD<\/strong>‘S\u00a0insightful\u00a0tracks,\u00a0Moore<\/strong>\u00a0navigates the search to find a place and\u00a0a\u00a0purpose. Throughout the 13\u00a0song collection,\u00a0that search is revealed in deeply personal terms, with\u00a0Moore<\/strong>\u00a0even\u00a0self-producing the set, with help from\u00a0David Garcia<\/strong>,\u00a0Luke Dick<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Blair Daly<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0respective tracks.<\/p>\n

The weathered heartland-rock sound\u00a0Moore<\/strong>\u00a0has embraced on previous\u00a0efforts gets its emotional volume pumped up, recorded live with a full band, as\u00a0substance takes precedence over\u00a0style and the\u00a0timeless prevails\u00a0over the trendy.\u00a0Moore<\/strong>\u00a0admits the results\u00a0include a few quirks \u2013 but that just gives\u00a0WILD WORLD<\/strong>\u00a0the character he values so much.<\/p>\n

“We wanted it to be more in-your-face,”<\/em>\u00a0he\u00a0says.\u00a0“More earthy, more analogue”.<\/em><\/p>\n

That straightforward honesty arrives early on the record,\u00a0starting with the very first song,\u00a0“Janie Blu”<\/strong>,\u00a0about a girl who’s always been special, but often stood in\u00a0her own way \u2013 a compassionate, force-of-nature plea to get your head right\u00a0before it’s too late.<\/p>\n

Likewise, the sturdy\u00a0“Southpaw”<\/strong>\u00a0stands as a grunge-rocking manifesto for the proudly out of touch, rejecting the notion of\u00a0“going with the flow”<\/em>\u00a0and showcasing just how\u00a0Moore<\/strong>\u00a0stands apart in today’s Wild World.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the calming\u00a0“More Than Enough”<\/strong>\u00a0presents a better option, blowtorch anthems like the\u00a0“Fire And Flame”\u00a0<\/strong>pour gasoline on the quest for greater meaning,\u00a0and\u00a0“Red White Blue Jean American Dream”<\/strong>\u00a0flies down an empty highway of optimism.<\/p>\n

“I know it’s an unsettling time for a lot of people right now, and so my\u00a0hope is that this music can bring even just one person some\u00a0peace,”<\/em>\u00a0shares\u00a0Moore<\/strong>.\u00a0“I try to make music that reaches people in a pure sense \u2013 something that’s light and easy to carry with you, but 1000 pounds of weight at the same time, and I think Wild World\u00a0is just a depiction of what I see.
