Morgan Wallen has made a social media! Yesterday captured a photo of a fishing excursion with country superstar Eric Church.

Wallen referenced Church’s song “Livin’ Part Of Life” from his 2006 Sinners Like Me album in the caption, writing, “Hang a sign on the door of my life.”

The singer/songwriter did not indicate where they were fishing together, however, it appears they are on the bank of a creek or a lake somewhere.

https://www.instagram.com/p/COMKdTirSO5/embed/captioned/?cr=1&v=13&wp=987&rd=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.countrynow.com&rp=%2Fmorgan-wallen-goes-fishing-with-eric-church-in-new-photo%2F#%7B%22ci%22%3A0%2C%22os%22%3A2153.8999999756925%2C%22ls%22%3A1922.3999999812804%2C%22le%22%3A1976.5999999945052%7D

Church recently made headlines when he spoke out about Wallen’s use of the N-word revealing that he wrote Wallen a letter to offer him prayers.

“That was indefensible. I was heartbroken when it happened,” Church told Billboard. “I think Morgan’s trying to work on that and on himself. And I hope he does.”

Church, the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year, co-wrote the song “Quittin’ Time,” which appears on Wallen’s chart-topping album, Dangerous: The Double Album.

Wallen previously told Country Now that including that song on his album was particularly meaningful because of what a hero Church has always been to him.

“Having him allow me to sing a song that he’s a writer on is truly one of my favorite accomplishments so far,” Wallen said at the time. “I love his style, his attitude, just the way that he’s handled himself has always really resonated with me.”

Church previously applauded Wallen for remaining true to himself as an artist. “That’s the key. Morgan is not trying to be somebody else,” Church told Billboard back in January. “He’s just doing him. It’s refreshing to see and hear.”

Wallen has remained mostly out of the spotlight since early February when a video of him using a racial slur surfaced on TMZ.

On April 13, Wallen issued a handwritten letter to fans offering an update about his time away from the public eye, sharing that he’s “really worked on myself” throughout the past few months.

“Not only has this time revealed to me the ways in which I want to improve, but it’s also reminded me that I am still very proud of who I am and the man I am becoming,” he wrote.

Wallen has cancelled all upcoming tour dates but promised fans, “you’ll be seeing me sooner than later.”

toto Morgan Wallen has made a social media!
