When\u00a0Chase Rice<\/strong>\u2019s longtime friend came to him with an idea for a song about \u201ca guy and his dog driving around together,\u201d the Diamond-certified songwriter laughed.\u00a0\u201cThat clich\u00e9 was exactly the type of thing I was trying to avoid on this album,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0Rice remembers. And yet, once he sat down with his acoustic guitar to craft what would become one of three solo writes on the forthcoming project, the result was anything but clich\u00e9.
