The album tells the story of Shane\u2019s life journey; full of backroad turns, straightaways and backslides, with each song revealing different chapters and sounds as distinctive as its maker. In January, he released a spine-tingling version of The Rolling Stones\u2019 acclaimed 1968 hit \u2018Sympathy for the Devil\u2019, as part of the forthcoming Stoned Cold Country album \u2013 a 60th anniversary tribute to The Rolling Stones from some of Country\u2019s biggest names. The full Stoned Cold Country album will be available on Friday, March 17th, with an early release on physical formats (CD\/vinyl) in the UK and Europe on March 10th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shane is most recently featured on The Cadillac Three\u2019s latest release \u2018Hillbilly\u2019 alongside Ketch Secor (Old Crow Medicine Show), the first new track for the band in nearly two years. To me, it\u2019s a touch of TC3 roots and a lot of where I come from. It&#8217;s a cautionary tale about how easily you can fall into the trap of substance abuse coming from small rural towns like the one I live in now. I believe it has the right amount of grit and rock n roll to reach the intended audience.
