Following Her Two Wins, Wilson\u2019s Critically Acclaimed Single \u201cHeart Like A Truck\u201d Rises to #1 on US Country Radio, Skyrockets to No. 2 on the US iTunes All Genre Chart<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multi-award-winning singer and songwriter,\u00a0Lainey Wilson<\/strong>\u00a0took home two CMT awards including:\u00a0Female Video of the Year<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Collaborative Video of the Year<\/strong>\u00a0with HARDY at the\u00a02023 CMT Awards<\/strong>\u00a0on 2nd April, 2023. As one of the fastest growing artists in Nashville, Wilson led this year\u2019s award show with four nominations, the first woman to do so in two years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Following the performance of her latest single \u201cHeart Like a Truck<\/strong>\u201d on the 2023 CMT Awards, the critically acclaimed track jumped two spots on the Country Aircheck\/Mediabase chart giving Wilson her third US No.1 hit. Wilson has a strong history with CMT, from first being recognised by its prestigious Next Women of Country franchise in 2019, to receiving her first CMT nomination in 2021 and first CMT performance in 2022, to being honoured as CMT\u2019s 2022 Breakout Artist of the Year, and most recently joining the likes of Ingrid Andress, Madeline Edwards, Morgan Wade, and Alanis Morissette to perform \u201cYou Oughta Know\u201d at this year\u2019s award show to honour of the 10th\u202fanniversary of CMT\u2019s Next Women of Country.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Wilson adds to her growing list of No.1 hits, including platinum-certified \u201cThings A Man Oughta Know<\/strong>\u201d, \u201cNever Say Never<\/strong>\u201d with Cole Swindell, and most recently \u201cHeart Like A Truck\u201d, her latest collaboration with HARDY \u201cwait in the truck<\/strong>\u201d continues to climb the charts, currently sitting in the top 5. Not to mention, \u201cSmell Like Smoke<\/strong>\u201d \u2013 originally heard on the critically acclaimed TV show Yellowstone<\/em> and featured on her latest album Bell Bottom Country<\/strong><\/em><\/a> \u2013 is No. 1 on SiriusXM The Highway\u2019s Hot 30 weekend countdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Already this year, Wilson has completed a 28-date sold-out US headlining tour, been honoured as\u00a0Billboard<\/em>\u2019s Women in Music\u2019s 2023 Rulebreaker, started touring stadiums with Luke Combs as support on the US leg of his World Tour, and performed as a mainstage artist overseas in the UK and Ireland at C2C: Country to Country festival.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
