Redferrin To Make UK Debut At C2C: Country To Country Festival Next Month <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Warner Music Nashville\u2019s rising artist\u00a0Redferrin<\/strong>\u00a0is raising a glass to celebrate the release of his debut EP\u00a0Old No. 7<\/em><\/strong>. Inspired by the famous whiskey, the EP packs a punch you can\u2019t ignore. All seven songs were co-written and co-produced by Redferrin himself \u2013 an important ingredient to the full-bodied project. The White House, Tennessee native was able to kick off the release in a big way last Thursday with a\u00a0SOLD-OUT<\/strong>\u00a0show at Exit\/In, his very first headlining hometown show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a pretty cool pairing and a really cool vibe, and it feels like all seven songs are really me,\u201d <\/em>said Redferrin. \u201cI\u2019m talking about White House, Tennessee, and I\u2019m talking about my favorite whiskey. It\u2019s real stories about real heartbreaks. I poured my heart into this music. Honestly can\u2019t believe it\u2019s all happening; this is a dream come true. A sold-out hometown show the night before I drop my first project. Definitely a week I will never forget.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Old No. 7<\/em>\u00a0opens with ‘Jack and Diet Coke’<\/strong>, the initial inspiration of the EP\u2019s overall theme. Redferrin\u2019s biggest song yet, it charted on Spotify\u2019s Viral 50 (US) and has surpassed 30 million global streams. ‘Lose Her For Nothin\u2019’<\/strong>, a moody, thoughtful vocal number, was actually inspired by Redferrin\u2019s late mother \u2013 a daily reminder to keep his promises. The dedications continue with ‘She\u2019s Like Whiskey’<\/strong>, inspired by his dog Mellow.\u00a0\u201cWe spent our final days with her in an airstream at the distillery and I wrote this song about the fun we had the last month of her life, and the hurt I knew was on the way,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>described Redferrin. The singer-songwriter leaned into his rock roots on tracks ‘Just Like Johnny’<\/strong>\u00a0and ‘Champagne In The Morning’<\/strong>. The collection also features previously released tracks ‘Miss Summer’<\/strong>\u00a0and ‘Doin\u2019 Life’<\/strong>, the latter of which is Redferrin\u2019s most personal song to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
