Country-rock powerhouse Tyler Braden today releases brand new song, “Call Me First“. Co-written by Braden, Sam Martinez, Cole Miracle, Zack Dyer, and John Robert Hall, the song follows Braden’s latest offering, “How It Starts“, which was released last month.
Braden’s urgent conviction to release “Call Me First” can be heard, and felt, in every verse. In his own words, Braden says “This song touches on one of the most important subjects that I’ve ever written about. It speaks to a world full of men, both young and old, who are perpetually taught the importance of being ‘tough.’ They’re taught that real men don’t cry, and that they are supposed to be protectors. This is engrained to a point where most young boys feel from an early age that they aren’t supposed to NEED to talk about your feelings and your struggles.”
He adds “This thought process needs to change and it needs to feel natural to be able to talk to your friends and your loved ones when something is bothering you. That starts with open communication. Mental health matters and I hope this song serves as a reminder to let friends know that you’re always available to talk, and that there is always somewhere to go. That’s what you’re there for.”
The new song follows Braden’s hit “Devil You Know” which is closing in on 200 million streams, after garnering 10+ million views across social media platforms in the first two weeks it posted this past spring. Braden also lays his soul bare on the anthemic “Above The Water“, and delivers an upbeat take on a breakup song with “How It Starts“.
ABOUT TYLER BRADEN:
Tyler Braden has the gritty powerhouse vocal, the expressive pen and the ability to deliver a lyric with complete conviction worthy of a headliner. Braden began crafting his sound as a teenager in Slapout, AL, where he demonstrated his mettle playing four-hour cover sets. He continued to perform between shifts as a firefighter in both Montgomery and Nashville; a set at the homegrown Whiskey Jam concert series in January 2017 paved his path to today. His Warner Music Nashville EP, Neon Grave, combines deep-rooted country tradition with the rollicking, high-energy instincts of a born rock ‘n’ roller. The project’s flagship single, “Try Losing One,” hit No. 1 on SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Countdown.

In April 2024 “Devil You Know” hit the Country radio airwaves, and as of September 2024, “Devil You Know” is a bona fide hit with a whopping 180+ million streams and over 50k+ ‘creates’ on TikTok. With 385+ million global streams to his name, Braden is now taking stages world-round.
