- On this day September 20, 1969Special guests on this week's ABC television music variety show included, Cass Elliot, Ramblin' Jack Elliot, The Staple Singers and Tommy Cash. Jack Elliot performed "If I Were A Carpenter" then he and Cash dueted on "Take Me Home."
