CMT Music Award Nominees Announced

This year’s CMT Music Awards show promises to be one of the most genre-bending ceremonies ever! At least eight collaborative videos featuring pop artists, R&B legends, Americana favorites and more making the final nominees list.

Little Big Town are set to host the event live from Nashville on June 6 at 8 p.m. ET. Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and Carrie Underwood lead the nominees with an impressive four nominations each.

Kendell Marvel to Support Brothers Osborne

Main acts are what draws the crowd to any event, from stadium and arena tours, to the smaller intimate gigs. One thing that they all have in common is that these event use support acts, or openers, Acts that fill the time and warm up the crowd until the big guys are due on! Sometimes all you want is to get past the support to the main item, but sometimes, the support act can really surprise you, leaving you wanting more…and I think Kendell Marvell will do just this when he appears prior to the Brothers Osborne, opening their gigs during their UK and Ireland tour.

Keith Urban’s new album ‘Graffiti U’ out tomorrow

This Friday (April 27th) marks the release of Keith Urban’s GRAFFITI U, his first new studio album in nearly two years.  The much-anticipated follow up to 2016’s record-breaking, No. 1, platinum album RIPCORD, GRAFFITI U is a natural musical progression that began with FUSE, but it also marks where Urban currently resides creatively. Sara Evans consulted over Nashville’s Rayna Jaymes

Longtime locals in Nashville, Callie Khouri (Thelma and Louise) and Steve Buchanan produce the series alongside creators Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick. In their pursuit over the show’s six years, the production team were never going to settle for anything less than capturing the authentic Nashville story, and the struggles most local musicians face in their rise to prominence and fame.
