Brothers Osborne last night performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Marking their Tonight Show debut, the reigning ACM and CMA Vocal Duo of the Year will perform their current single “I Don’t Remember Me (Before You)” which they co-wrote with Shane McAnally and Matt Dragstrem. “I Don’t Remember Me (Before You)” is featured on the duo’s critically-acclaimed sophomore album, Port Saint Joe, and continues to garner praise from critics with Rolling Stone calling it, “a stunner of a love song.”
A long list of country stars got some very, very good news first thing on Tuesday morning (Aug. 28) when the CMA Awards nominations were announced.
And some took to social media immediately to share the news with their fans, and share how honored they were just to be nominated. Some of the first artists to put their gratitude into words on Twitter were Luke Bryan, Midland, Thomas Rhett, Old Dominion, Little Big Town, Maddie & Tae, Kelsea Ballerini, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Sugarland and more.
This weekend marks the first Brothers Osborne headline tour. Kendell Marvel is travelling with them and will provide the support for their gigs!
A Special interview and catch up ahead of the Brothers Osborne hitting Irish soil this weekend as they take to the stage in the Academy in Dublin on Friday (4th May) and then head north to Belfast for a Limelight performance on Saturday (5th May).
A Special podcast ahead of the Brothers Osborne hitting Irish soil this weekend as they take to the stage in the Academy in Dublin on Friday (4th May) and then head north to Belfast for a Limelight performance on Saturday (5th May). We’re extremely excited by this and had the privilege of catching up with them before they left the states. Have a listen to Podcast 46 featuring some of their best music and a two part interview.
Brothers Osborne recorded much of their new album, Port Saint Joe, in a beach house in Florida, and one of the songs they tracked — “Shoot Me Straight” — was recorded live in front of a bunch of friends who came down to hang out.
Main acts are what draws the crowd to any event, from stadium and arena tours, to the smaller intimate gigs. One thing that they all have in common is that these event use support acts, or openers, Acts that fill the time and warm up the crowd until the big guys are due on! Sometimes all you want is to get past the support to the main item, but sometimes, the support act can really surprise you, leaving you wanting more…and I think Kendell Marvell will do just this when he appears prior to the Brothers Osborne, opening their gigs during their UK and Ireland tour.
