Lady Antebellum are now part of the Big Machine Label Group family. The country trio announced their signing with BMLG on Tuesday (Sept. 4).
Lady Antebellum were previously signed to Capitol Records Nashville, part of the Universal Music Group family. Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott signed with Capitol Nashville in July of 2007. They released six full-length studio albums, as well as one Christmas record and two EPs, with the label.

George Strait has issued a statement following the death of his longtime drummer, Mike Kennedy, in a car accident on last Friday (Aug. 31), in Lebanon, Tennessee. On Facebook, the country superstar says it’s “hard to put into words how much Mike’s passing has affected us all.”
