Deacon, Scarlett, Gunnar, Juliette and Rayna are heading to the Big Stage.
They say you only get one chance at a first impression. Whether or not that adage is actually true is as much your guess as it is mine. Country music over time has been reinvented, so maybe it can be done over. But for Lennon Stella, it was important, that first impression is given to the world by her debut EP Love, me. While the world’s top musicians attended the American Music Awards on Tuesday in Los Angeles, one name was missing from the RSVP list — Ed Sheeran’s.
Instead of attending the ceremony, he opted for a songwriter’s round at the sacred Nashville music venue, the Bluebird Café. The night highlighted acoustic performances by “Thinking Out Loud” co-writer Amy Wadge, Devin Dawson, David Hodges and Jillian Jacqueline, a member of CMT Next Women of Country.
Celebrities always seem to blend in discreetly with locals and tourists whenever they’re in Nashville. And that was the case for Sheeran because no one noticed him sitting at a table in a far corner until he stood up to perform the last song, “Thinking Out Loud” with Wadge.

Lady Antebellum are now part of the Big Machine Label Group family. The country trio announced their signing with BMLG on Tuesday (Sept. 4).
Lady Antebellum were previously signed to Capitol Records Nashville, part of the Universal Music Group family. In addition to the performances they both delivered during the 2018 CMA Music Festival in June, Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini are hosting a TV special featuring performances from the event for the second year in a row. On Aug. 8, CMA Fest 2018 highlights will be broadcast during a special televised event, giving festival attendees, fans who couldn’t make it and the hosts themselves the chance to live out the experience one more time.
