Big Tom returns home for final time

On Tuesday night he remains of singer, who passed away aged 81, were brought home to Oram village in Co Monaghan for a public reposal at the community centre, with the coffin placed beneath a giant mural of the man himself. People have flocked from all over Ireland to rural County Monaghan to pay tribute to the man they called “the King” of Irish country.

CMT’s Nashville touches down in UK tomorrow for final time

The hit show, Nashville have taken to the skies and for a final time they’ll showcase their talent and music to us in the UK and Ireland as they embark on the final spin off tour. Esten,
Bowen, Carmack, Jackson, and Palladio will host eight shows in England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland for their Farewell UK Tour. The Belfast gig is booked into the SSE arena for Tuesday 24th April.

Belfast Goes Nashville

For many years there has been a close link between our very own Belfast City and the iconic music city of Nashville. The region’s connection with Tennessee dates from the Scots-Irish settlement of the area in the eighteenth century to the diverse relationships and cultural ties that link Belfast and Nashville today. Belfast has been an official sister city of Nashville, since 1995 in a partnership focusing on social projects, education, and musical and cultural exchange.
