A farming Finnish band, with nearly 100 million views on YouTube, are set to make history as the first band of its kind to play at the Farmer’s Bash in the SSE Arena, Belfast, which takes place on Friday 11th October.
Last night some of the best in Irish Country Music descended on the big smoke to officially kick off the run up to th Farmers Bash 2019. The foyer of Belfast’s huge SSE arena normally packed for pop events was filled by the strumming of guitars and gentle tones of Johnny Brady and Derek Ryan.
With just weeks to to to Christmas, Santa will come early to some mega country fans as the folks down at Farmers Bash HQ spread a little cheer! Tomorrow (Tuesday 20th Nov) marks the day when we will find the details of the launch regarding who will be hitting the stage at Belfast’s SSE arena next October.

Last night the Nashville cast performed their last gig in Dublin as part of their Farewell Tour. There was an immense excitement, albeit mixed with a sense of sadness as we know the end of the show on TV is drawing ever closer. Tonight they do their thing in Belfast!
On the 24th of March Nathan Carter will return to the SSE Arena in Belfast, this time he’s bringing along a few special surprises. Not only will his wee brother on stage with him, but legendary bluegrass group Hayseed Dixie’ will also be performing at the event. Hayseed Dixie, who played the Belfast Empire last night are an American band which began in 2001 with the release of their first album, A Hillbilly Tribute to AC/DC. The band performs a mixture of cover versions of hard rock songs and original compositions in a style that is a unique fusion of bluegrass and rock music and they are acknowledged as the creators of the musical genre “Rockgrass”. The band’s name is a linguistic play on the name of the band AC/DC.
